Hi friends!  
Last Friday, I had exactly 11 minutes to get a few blog posts online (between photographing two weddings and attending another on Friday evening). Of course my blog was down at the exact time I tried to upload images. So, I apologize for not getting those online for your lovely viewing pleasure. I'm in Minneapolis right now and will be home tomorrow, ready to get back to blogging!

Hello, blog friends! Happy February. I'm absolutely overjoyed to report that I am back to blogging! We've got a lot of catching up to do :) 
 
First, I'm happy to announce we're hosting another beginner photography workshop on Feb. 26. Here are the details :: 
 
When? 
Saturday, Feb. 26  
Class from 1pm to 5pm, with dinner and q+a session to follow 
 
What? 
A beginner workshop focusing on the basics of your camera and digital photography in order to create photos you'll love. We’ll talk about a range of topics from exposure, focus, posing, and lighting, to post-processing (plus anything else you ask!). This is a hands-on class with a live shoot. And no need to take notes during class; a take-home packet will be provided to help you remember what you learned! 
 
After a long day of class, dinner is our treat! You'll have time to ask us any questions you need answered. Nothing against point and shoots, of course, but A DSLR camera is required for this class. 
 
Where? 
The class will be held in Grand Forks at the Alerus Center. 
 
How much? 
$200 (includes dinner)

It is almost Christmas and I'm almost done editing photos for the year :)  
 
I keep telling myself that when all of our client photos and orders are done for the year, I will start blogging again.

Get Hitched, a wedding show for the modern bride, is tomorrow and we are so excited! To share our excitement, we are giving away two tickets to the event. Want to win them? Have you heard about Get Hitched? Get Hitched is a wonderfully fun wedding show we are organizing alongside Katie from Katie Lewis Photography. Get Hitched is not the big, impersonal wedding show you've attended in the past. Instead, it is an intimate cocktail party where you can meet local artisans and get inspiration from wedding vendors. We've been busy bees planning, building and crafting for the show for the last month and we are so excited to show you what we've been working on!  
 
The show is next Tuesday, Nov. 9 from 6 to 9pm. Tickets are sold online only, so be sure to buy them before the show. A limited number of tickets are available.
