I met up with Jace and crew last night to get some one year old snaps. Check out Jace rockin' the faux hawk! How cute is he?
Jace was completely smitten with the rocks at the playground, and no matter how many rounds of "Head, shoulders, knees and toes" we sang, he just wouldn't smile for us. He snuck in a couple, though, and that's all that counts :)

Today I met up with Jordan and his mom Sarah for some fun farm-inspired portraits. We traveled out to Sarah's family farms (yes, plural! One of her dad's, and one of her grandparents). Jordan was too cute ... he loved posing for the camera. Serious face, smiley face ... the kid could do it all :)

Shawna grew up in Minot, North Dakota, and graduated from the University of North Dakota with degrees in English and photography. After college she worked at the Colorado Springs Gazette, the Forum of Fargo-Moorhead and the Grand Forks Herald. Shawna Noel Photography started as a part-time "adventure" for Shawna in 2004 and quickly became a full-time business.

Last Saturday I was shooting with Steve Silverman at Shosti and Donny's beautiful wedding in Grand Forks. We had a great day! I checked the weather before I left my house, and the forecast was 75 degrees and sunny all day :)
Shosti and Donny are such a great couple ... so happy and so fun! Shosti has a great sense of humor and had me laughing all day :)
