| Holiday update and Meah! |
Portraits Friday, November 28, 2008 |

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I sure did. I traveled to Minneapolis to spend some time with my family, eat stuffing, and play card games! I really love spending time with my family and look forward to it every year. I can't wait for Christmas!
Speaking of Christmas, if you are interested in Holiday Cards, we need your order by December 15. If you are interested in learning more about our Holiday cards, just email me at shawnanoel at gmail dot com :) If you are looking for a great gift idea, how about a Shawna Noel Photography gift certificate? Email me for more info!
Now ... onto the photos!
Meet little Miss Meah and her family :) We met up with Meah on a gorgeous fall day in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, and had a wonderful time. Meah is a smiley, happy little one-year old girl with the bluest eyes you've ever seen! She made our job (making cute photos!) way too easy.

| Here's a non-happy shot, but I think it's still pretty cute :) |

| And, what's a one-year old without cake? Meah's mom baked up a cake for Meah to snack on :) |

| The result? A very sticky and very cute kid :: |

| Happy Thanksgiving! |

| Schill family in the fall |
Portraits Wednesday, November 26, 2008 |

During a weekend at the lake, I met up with the Schill family for some fall photos. In between photos of Claire, Mark, Janna and Megan, I snuck in some fall foliage photos, too. The light in the fall at the lake is some of the prettiest light there is (in my humble opinion!) and I was so happy to have a fun, photogenic family to work with!
How cute are they? |

| Nicole and Jason: Wedding |
Weddings Tuesday, November 25, 2008 |

Nicole and Jason had an amazing day for a fall wedding back in October! It was cool and crisp outside, and the fall leaves were still in all their colorful glory! We had some time to head outside of the church and shoot photos of the wedding party on the street and I love how they turned out :)
Nicole and Jason :: thank you so much for inviting us to share your day with you. We hope things are well (and warm!) in sunny Arizona!
What a beautiful couple :: |

| Nicole's dress was stunning! |

| I love all the flowy layers in her dress :: |

| Jason rockin' the dip (yep, he can only do this move with his tongue out) :: |

| Nicole's sister Jill (who was recently married) said her dad gets nervous before the ceremony. That's certainly a nervous face :) |

| I love simple, pretty cakes (love to look at them, and love to eat them. hehe) |

| Happy Monday |
Personal Monday, November 24, 2008 |

Good morning! I'm happy to report that I am back to blogging :) My goal is to blog each and every single day 'til Christmas, so get ready!
We've had an amazing fall and are ready and excited for the holiday season. I've got lots of family sessions to show you, plus three weddings, and some personal photos from my trip to Seattle and Vancouver!
Today we are going to start with my trip to Seattle and Vancouver. The Bebbinar was fabulous, of course, and I met so many great people and learned a lot of helpful and useful info from Jen and Steve. It was so hard for me to go away for a week ... what would happen if I wasn't sitting at my desk working on photos? Luckily, Kory took care of everything while I was gone (yay for good friends) and I only worried a little bit. Ha!
I flew into Seattle, where I met up with my friend Jon for dinner. He gave me the quick tour of Seattle and took me up to the Queen Anne neighborhood for the best view. Did I remember my camera? No. :) Just the point-and-shoot camera that I always have in my bag.

| An "artistic" shot of Jon and I :: |

| The next morning I drove up to Vancouver for the Bebbinar. I didn't take ANY photos in Vancouver because it rained the whole time we were there. Oh, except the one day we had a model shoot. Other than that, all rain, all the time. |

Here's my new pal Jenny (from Jenny Joy Photography) and I during the first night at the Bebbinar. Terrible photo of me, cute photo of Jenny! Jenny's a fantastic photographer from Seattle.
|

| The day after the Bebbinar, I drove back down to Seattle and had some time before my flight left to explore the city a bit more. Seattle's a really cool place -- I loved all the hills and all the unique neighborhoods. |

| Up next tomorrow on the blog :: a Grand Forks wedding :) |
