On Saturday we were in the warm city of Bismarck for Nicole and Phil's wedding. It was a great, great day ... the weather was nice and Nicole, Phil, and their family and friends were fun to work with. Nicole's mom did an amazing job decorating the reception, with all sorts of lights, flowers and sparkly things :)

Weddings Friday, March 28, 2008 |
After a very, very long day of travel yesterday, we finally made it back to the States :) We had a wonderful experience in Mexico with our new friends Meghann and Steve. It was a beautiful day: warm, sunny, with a slight ocean breeze. In the afternoon, Kory hung out with Steve and the guys as they went on a "taste of the island" tour to sample food around the island. I spent my time with Meghann and the girls as they all got prepped and pretty for the sunset ceremony.
The timing for the ceremony couldn't have been more perfect ... just as Meghann walked down the aisle, the sun touched the horizon line and the sky turned a beautiful orange color. It was really stunning. :)
I had some time on the plane last night to do a quick edit ... there are so many photos! I'll post more when we get home on Sunday.

We have arrived in Mexico and itŽs fabulous. The weather is warm but a little windy. Yesterday we traveled in a car, plane, train, then boat to get here. Today weŽll only use our feet or a golf cart :)

Sunday I had the chance to attend my new cousin Ian's baptism in Minneapolis ... isn't he a cutie? He's the one month old son of my cousin Laura, and I just couldn't be happier for her and her husband Eric. Congrats guys!

| Tonight we are officially packing up for Mexico. We board our plan at 7am. Sunny skies, here we come! We watched "27 Dresses" tonight to get into the wedding mood :) |

Yesterday we were out in Williston for Brandie and Ryan's wedding. It was a fun, relaxed day if a little cold and snowy ... but that's spring in North Dakota! We photographed Ryan's brother Kyle's wedding last summer, so it was fun to see their family again.
