Kelsey + Caleb
Before spring officially becomes summer, I should show you this fun and colorful engagement session with Kelsey, Caleb and their adorable daughter Siiri!
Kelsey attended one of our photo workshop in 2010 and I remember being jealous of her fabulous taste in fashion. So I was excited to see what she and her family would wear for their photo session. She did not disappoint! I love the fun colors in these photos ... great outfit choices, Kelsey!

A winter love story
The most wonderful part of this extra-warm winter we are experiencing? It makes shooting outside in March a dream.
We met up with Rachael and Jered at their place near Fertile, Minn. for their engagement session a few days ago. It was unseasonably warm and we'd just had a nice big snow storm, so we were free to frolic in the snow without getting too cold :) Kory had fun making snowballs and using them to play catch with the dogs.
Rachael and Jered's backyard will also serve as the backdrop for their wedding ceremony this summer. I couldn't be more excited for this. I think it's going to be the perfect setting for a country wedding!

Bee stings and all
It must be bee season. In the last two days, both Kory and I have been the lucky recipients of bee stings. Ouch!

Jenny and Randy: Engaged!
Say hello to not one but TWO redheads :: Jenny + Randy! They are getting married this summer and we can't wait for their wedding. Jenny was looking forward to outside engagement photos and of course most parks in the area are under water thank to the annual flooding.
But, we found one park in Fargo that would do :) Jenny and Randy toughed out a rather cool and windy day for these snaps ... Oh, don't you love spring in North Dakota?
