Jarrod + Michaela: Wedding

Two week ago I was assisting Steve Silverman with Jarrod and Michaela's Grand Forks wedding. It was a spectacular spring day! I love being a second-shooter from time to time ... it allows me to try some different things during the wedding day. Jarrod and Michaela were a really sweet, chic couple and their wedding party was so much fun! Plus, working with Steve (and carrying around his big ladder) is always a good time :)

To see more images from Jarrod and Michaela's day, check out Steve's blog :: HERE

Jarrod is a singer+songwriter and he performed a song for Michaela during the reception. There wasn't a dry eye in the house, natch.
(PS -- Kory tells me I post too many photos and I know it, but I just can't narrow it down! Please forgive me.)

Jay + Kiran: Wedding

When Jay first contacted us about his Indian wedding in Winnipeg, he said he wanted a photographer that would see an Indian wedding with a fresh perspective. We hope we provided that for him and his wife Kiran. Their two-day wedding celebration was full of color, laughter, unique traditions and great food! We were so thankful to be a part of it ... it was fascinating to learn more about the Indian culture and also to photograph all of the details of the day. It made us see traditional Western weddings in a new way, too :)

We started day one with Kiran at -- get this -- 6:15am. For people who know me, early mornings usually are tough for me :) But I was really excited to meet Kiran and get the day started, so getting out of bed at 5am wasn't too bad!
