Michelle

Yesterday we went out with the fabulous Michelle for our cover shoot for Red River Valley Women Today magazine. It was so much fun! Michelle was such a good sport, and such a great model! It was about 45 degrees yesterday and raining off and on, but we still managed to get some great images!

A big thanks to Kory and Beth for being wonderful assistants!

Breanna and Luke, part one

Forever ago (well, more like two weeks, but stil!) we met up with Breanna, Luke, and their adorable son Jayden for some couple and family photos. Here's part one of their session, the couple-only photos :) You can see why Jayden's so cute ... mom and dad are pretty adorable too!

I love this shot ::

Some big news

Things have been a little busy around here ... Kory and I have been shooting weddings, engagement sessions, seniors, family sessions AND I've been working my full-time job at the newspaper AND I've been shooting freelance assignments for companies.

I have to admit, I'm pretty worn out. And at the end of the day, there are so many things I would still like to accomplish. So, after thinking about it for a long time, I've decided to leave my job at the newspaper to free up more time for the business. I'm so excited to have more time for my fabulous clients! Starting May 23, I'm all yours :)

And because blog entries are no fun without photos, here are some pics of Michelle and Taylor, our cover story for the June issue of Red River Valley Women Today. We're doing a wedding issue, and it's been so much fun to work on (I wonder why ...). Next Wednesday, Michelle is getting all glamed up for a big cover shoot. Fun!

Aren't they cute?

Lisa and Clint

Lisa and Clint had an amazing wedding in Minneapolis last weekend. Every detail of the wedding was chat-worthy :: Lisa wore her mom's dress and veil and it was just stunning on her, the location of the ceremony and reception were both very unique and fun, the flowers (the FLOWERS!) were gorgeous, and it was just one heck of a party. The reception was at the Varsity Theater, and Lisa's sister designed posters for the outside display windows. The Varsity sign read, "Lisa and Clint: From stereo to mono." How very fitting :)

Mr. Obama

Last Friday I had the chance to take some photos of Mr. Barack Obama during his quick visit to the North Dakota Democratic Convention that was held in Grand Forks. It was a very cool experience. The energy and excitement from the crowd was just amazing ... I got goosebumps when he was announced. Now, I'm not sure who I'm supporting yet for a presidential candidate, but I love how excited people are for Barack. :)

I love this guy ... what's he thinking?

A crowd of 17,000 is pretty good for Grand Forks, North Dakota!
