Nile and Derek were married on a gorgeous summer day in a beautiful garden, and we couldn't been happier to be there. Planning an outdoor ceremony can be risky in North Dakota. Despite a cool and rainy week, Saturday turned out to be sunny and warm. It really was a picture-perfect wedding, complete with lust-worthy shoes, a gauzy designer gown, fresh-from-the-garden flowers and even a fine lookin' couple :)

Nile, Derek and their wedding party were certainly a fun-loving group and we had a great time hanging out with them throughout the day!

During the dance they had a hulu-hoop competition. Nile kicked ass ::

Baby Michael at six months

Yesterday I spent the afternoon with Baby Michael, celebrating his 6-month birthday :) He's getting so big and he's just the happiest baby.

Hayley + Dan: Minto, ND

We traveled up to Minto, ND for Hayley + Dan's lovely wedding day a couple weeks ago. Hayley has three sisters who are all married, so Joan, Hayley's mom, is an old pro at wedding planning! All of the little details were well thought out and the schedule of the day was spot-on! Plus, both Hayley and Dan's families were so friendly and nice ... we really had fun working with everyone :)

Hayley and Dan's emotional ceremony took place at a gorgeous church in Minto. At the end of the ceremony, the couple had their first kiss (first kiss ever! how amazing!) in front of their family and friends. After the ceremony, Hayley, Dan, and the wedding party walked three blocks to the reception hall. When guests started to arrive, the couple and their parents greeted them. We thought it was a great alternative to a receiving line.

Dan's mom, Barb, did all the flowers for the day and they were stunning!

A snappy reunion, of sorts

At Saturday's wedding, there were FIVE Shawna Noel Photography brides and grooms at Amanda + Brandon's big day! It was so cool to see everyone again. We just had to take a photo ::
