Nate + Jen + brand new Clare

Way back in springtime, we met the lovely Nate + Jen who were expecting a little bundle of fun :) Nate and Jen are really funny, sweet and photogenic! We had the best session with them. Just today we met up with them again because their little Clare arrived last week!

The colorful Auch family

Oh, how we love the Auch family :) Every single time we meet up with Andrea and Justin and their kiddos Ashtyn and Kenai, we just CANNOT stop snapping pics of them! Ashtyn is so funny and just loves to play (with everything except dirt) and little Kenai is really sweet and calm and collected :)

We met up with them at Turtle River State Park -- where they like to go camping -- for some photo fun. I love how colorful all these shots are ::

Out of the office, again!

June has been a very busy month for us ... as soon as we get home we leave again! We are in Grand Forks tomorrow then Bismarck on Saturday and Aberdeen on Sunday and Monday. Starting next Tuesday, we'll be in the office for two entire weeks and we are really looking forward to it!

Robert + Nomani are engaged!

Last night our good friend (and fabulous DJ) Robert asked his girlfriend Nomani to be his wife. They had a romantic dinner, then took a walk in a nearby park where Robert got down on one knee and proposed. We were at the park, hiding in the bushes, to photograph the big event!

Robert called us last week to pass the idea by us. "Do you like to hide in bushes?" he asked Kory. Kory likes to be stealthy so this assignment was right up his alley. Robert's mom was also on-hand to set up some flowers and candles at the park before they arrived.

So, there we were, hiding in the bushes, patiently waiting for Robert and Nomani to come. Here's my view ::

Two minutes passed. Then ten. I was getting anxious, so I stood up to check my phone. Just then, Kory stood and yelled toward me, "They are coming!"

I got back in to my stealth position ::

They arrive! Robert says some sweet mushy love-y stuffs ::

Lacey

We met Lacey through her work as an anchor at Studio One, the student-run TV station at the University of North Dakota. Lacey is competing in the Miss Minnesota pageant in a couple of weeks and she wanted some fun photos of herself before the pageant. Lacey is GORGEOUS, of course, but is also really funny and sweet. She grew up on a farm and used to be a tomboy ... that would explain why she climbed trees, chased ducks, and ran down a gravel road with no shoes on (ouch!) during our session!

Best of luck to you, Lacey! We'll be cheering for you on June 20!
