The happiest little girl

Oh, I love Eli! The last time we met up, it was a cold icky day and Eli wasn't very happy (who could blame her?). This time, she was the happiest little girl I've seen in a while! I don't think she stopped smiling from the moment we walked in the door until the moment we left. And, Eli's house was a treasure trove of beautiful light. We had so much fun!

What happens in Vegas ...

gets reported on the blog! Oh my did we have a great time in Vegas for WPPI! We met lots of amazing and inspiring photographers, learned about some cool new albums and products at the trade show, got schooled by the platform speakers, and gambled and danced our hearts out! One thing we did NOT do in Vegas :: SLEEP.

We shot lots of terrible photos in Vegas with our little point-and-shoot camera (that's right, we did not bring our big cameras!) that I will share with you now. Did I mention these are terrible?

We wanted to buy this ass-shaped bubble blower for DJ Robert, our most-favorite wedding DJ, but then Kory lost all our money on the penny slots.

OK, so I had a bit of a tripping problem in Vegas. It started when I saw Jen + Steve Bebb, and I went running over to Jen to give her a hug, and on my way I tripped and quite literally FELL into her arms. Real classy. Then, at the Bludomain party, I was running over to Emily to tell her something, and I tripped and FLEW into the booth. So funny, I almost peed a little. Working on an update

Whew! We had such an amazing time in Vegas last week that we are STILL recovering from it :) OK, well, not really recovering, but busy catching up on emails and things. And right now I'm working on a big Vegas blog post, so stay turned today for photos!

Hello, Vegas

This Sunday we are escaping the chilly North Dakota weather and heading down to Las Vegas for WPPI, a huge photography conference. It's our first year at WPPI and we are excited to make new friends, check out new gizmos and gadgets at the trade show, and gamble all our money away of course! Hehee. We'll be back to the office next Thursday, Feb. 19. If you need to reach us next week, email is best.

In other news, today we got a new Flash-based header on the top of the blog now with photos that will rotate. Yay!
