Minneapolis sessions

We'll be in the Minneapolis area the week of Sept. 22-25 for portrait sessions. If you are interested in a family, baby or engagement session in the Minneapolis area, let me know sooner rather than later. We only have a few time slots left :)

Here's a shot from our most-recent baby session ::

Baby Kenai

My good friends Andrea and Justin had a beautiful baby girl last weekend and I met up with them the morning after she was born to get some new-newborn snaps.

Andrea looks amazing!

Tina and Erik: Wedding

We traveled to the great little town of Roseau, Minn., for Tina and Erik's big day in August. Tina and Erik are high school sweethearts, and I think the whole town showed up to see them tie the knot. It was a great day in northwestern Minnesota and there were a lot of sweet moments to capture between Tina, Erik, and their friends and family.

Portraits of us

Kory and I try to take photos of each other every once and a while so we can show you, our favorite blog readers, what the heck we look like. The last time we snapped some photos of us together, Kory almost broke his ankle and we ended up in the ER.

So ... this time we enlisted the wonderful and fabulous Britta from Milestones Photography down in West Fargo to make some pretty pictures of Kory and I. And she did a great job!

You can check out her blog with lots of photos :: Britta's blog

Here are some highlights ::

Thanks again Britta! We love them!

Kristin and John: Wedding

Kristin and John were married near Brainerd, Minn., at Cragun's Legacy Golf Course on a gorgeous August day. I hadn't met Kristin until the moment I arrived at the salon, but by the end of the day I felt like we were old friends ... Kristin is a very laid-back and sweet person and makes everyone around her feel comfortable and relaxed. And just like Kristin, John has a great sense of humor and a great smile and together they light up a room with their fun personalities and laughter.

Thanks for inviting us to share your big day with you, Kristin and John!

On to the photos (another big post ... sorry, I just couldn't help myself!) ...
The girls at the salon ::
A little lakeside lunch with the girls ::
Getting Kristin's head through her dress (without messing up that hair do!)
Kristin wore a beautiful lace gown with a lace back that was amazing ... and how cool is her hair?
Ha! When Kristin saw John for the first time, John pointed out that Kristin had some spinach (or something green) in her front tooth. Totally hilarious. I was laughing so hard I'm surprised this photo is in focus :)
After she got the food out, John kissed her :)
The golf course was a beautiful place to take photos!
I love the asymmetrical floral design on the arbor.
At the reception, John sang to Kristin. She was very surprised :)
