The Evans family

I met up with the Evans family (you'll recognize Amanda, my executive ass.) a while back for some family portrait fun at Cass Lake in Minnesota. After meeting Amanda's family, I can totally see how she became the fun person she is ... everyone in her family is hilarious and sweet. We had a great session!

Here they are, laughing away ::
It was Amanda's family's first trip to northern Minnesota.
I can't remember what Amanda's mom said, but it was pretty funny!

Melissa and Thomas :: Wedding

A couple weekends back, we traveled to Devils Lake for Melissa and Thomas' beautiful wedding. We met up with Melissa and Thomas earlier in the year for a fun engagement session and have been looking forward to their big day. Melissa and Thomas' friends and family are a hoot!

Congrats, M+T!

I love this photo of Melissa waiting patiently to see Thomas ::

Animals and camping and cousins ... oh my!

We are finally back from our wild west vacation in Medora, N.D., and I am happy to report that we had a FABULOUS time! I even have photos to prove it :)

Stay tuned to the blog all this week ... I've got lots and lots of photos to show you so we'll have a new blog post each day!

First up, some vacation photos. We made friends with the bison in the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Here they are wandering through our campsite.

Mud is so pretty ::
We were stuck driving behind this guy for about a 1/2 mile ... he followed the curvy road perfectly, then finally moved off the road to poop. I'm trying to keep the blog PG, so sorry, no pooping photo for you!
Oh, it's Bambi!
The boyfriend waiting patiently in the car as I chased deer, elk, and prairie dogs to get some pretty photos. I was pretty unsuccessful.

The view from our tent ::
Me, on day one, so fresh and so clean ::
Me and my cousin Shannon (who, in a weird coincidence, was camping right next to us in the park. It's a small, small world!). Note my greasy, I-haven't-showered-in-three-days look. :)
The car hadn't showered in three days either. Dirty dirty.
