Busy weekend

We had a busy weekend full of gorgeous weddings ... here's a shot that caught my eye from Nile + Derek's wedding in Grand Forks yesterday ::

Katie + Stephen: Bismarck, ND

Dang. I can't believe today is July 15. We are at the halfway point of our wedding season already ... 19 beautiful weddings down, 19 to go. Woohoo :)

Katie and Stephen got married in Bismarck in June. It was a gorgeous day (I know I say that a lot, but really, it was a beautiful day!). Katie and Stephen are a fun, sweet, and adorable couple. I loved Katie's color choice in the bridesmaids' dresses and flowers ... blue dresses and red tulips. And the reception decor was stunning!

We also had fun working with Matt, a videographer from Life's Legacy Productions

Thanks for including us in your day, Katie + Stephen! We had a great time :)

Katie looked gorgeous!
First meeting ::
So sweet ::
Bubbles are big this year!
A good ol' fashioned pyramid is always fun :)
The little kids' table was too cute :: lots of crayons, cupcakes and fruit for the kiddos. They had a blast at the table!

Wedding overload?

June was an explosion of weddings here at Shawna Noel Photography ... are you tired of seeing wedding photos on the blog yet? Well I hope not because we've got lots more to show you, of course!

Today I'm taking a break from editing weddings and I've been working on this family session. I just adore this adorable little girl and her dad ::
Stay tuned for Katie + Stephan's wedding photos tomorrow on the blog!

Louise + Mike: Grand Forks, ND

Happy Saturday blogfriends! Today we are off to photograph a wedding in Minto, but first I thought I'd post this, the lovely wedding of Louise and Mike. We've been excited about Louise and Mike's wedding since their engagement session last fall because, well, they were awesome!

It was a gorgeous June day for a wedding and we had a fabulous time celebrating with Louise and Mike and their families and friends ... Mike and his pals were all laughs and performed their classic Sig Ep dance during the reception. It was a great day :)

We'll start the photos with Louise getting ready in the morning ::
The colors of gray and pink are so pretty together (and of course I just love, love, love those pearls)
Dress bustling is always a challenge ::
Bubbles!

Natalie + Aaron: MIll City Museum

Natalie and Aaron were married at the stunning Mill City Museum in June and were we ever happy to be there. Natalie is my style-twin :: everything she chose for her wedding was right up my alley! I loved her wedding dress, the bridesmaids' dresses, the flowers, her paper goodies, I even loved her wedding jewelry! The first thing Natalie said to me about Aaron is, "You know he's funny, right?" I didn't know at the time, but yes, Aaron really has a wonderful sense of humor and really knows how to make Natalie smile :)

The weather was absolutely perfect for Aaron and Natalie's outdoor ceremony in the courtyard of the Mill City Museum. Instead of having formal readings, Natalie and Aaron's good friends spoke about marriage and love. At the end of the ceremony, the groomsmen and the officiant surprised the couple with a rousing rendition of "All you Need is Love" with kazoos :) It was really sweet!

Thanks for making us a part of your day, Natalie and Aaron!
