Out for the weekend!

This weekend we are cruising up to Winnipeg for Kiran + Jay's two-day wedding. We are so excited for this wedding!

We'll be back on Monday with lots of photos to show you, of course.

Here's a quick sneak peek from my session with little three-month old Michael. He looks just like his dad and uncles ;) Happy birthday to his mama, Janna, today!

Fun + Flirty, part one

A couple weeks ago I posted a few hotel room photos. Remember? (If not, you can see them HERE). Well, there was more going on in that hotel room then we initally admitted :) But now the cat's out of the bag and I can tell you all about it! Yay!

We hosted our first Fun + Flirty weekend at the Hotel Ivy in Minneapolis and had such a great time! Our Fun + Flirty photo sessions are boudoir sessions that we cater to our clients. Our goal with these sessions is to create beautiful images -- with nothing too revealing. Just fun, flirty, classic images that your husband/boyfriend/partner will love :)

We had a beautiful suite at the Ivy, beautiful light all day long, and most importantly, gorgeous women to photograph! And we had Emily, from Emily J, on hand for hair and makeup all day. Emily is fabulous at what she does AND she is just a joy to work with.

None of these images are too risque, but if you are at work or reading this blog with your three-year-old, now's the time to look away :)

Lindsey + Chris

Ohhh, what an amazing day! Lindsey + Chris had an absolutely gorgeous wedding in East Grand Forks, Minn. last weekend and we were the lucky photographers who got to capture it :) All of the details were meticulously planned by Lindsey and had a simple but glam feeling. I loved it!

We started the day with Lindsey at the Canad Inn (isn't her shirt cute?) ::

After the first meeting, we headed outside for some fun portraits of the couple ::

We walked across the street to the elementary school where Lindsey and Chris first met in third grade!

All the bridesmaids wore long strands of pearls. It was lovely!
